Asian Education Leadership Award for AUST Education College Dean

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Rajab Gherfal, Dean, College of Education & Basic Science, Ajman University of Science & Technology, was conferred with the “Education Leadership Award” during the Asian Education Leadership Awards organized by the Asian Confederation of Businesses at Taj Palace Hotel, Dubai.

The Asian Education Leadership Awards are granted annually to individuals and institutions who have surpassed several levels of excellence and set an example of being a role model and Exemplary Leadership. They are also an encouragement to individuals who are building their institutions through Leadership, Innovation, Academic and Industry Interface and endeavor towards building future leaders.

The event was cosponsored by CMO Asia as strategic partner and Stars of the Industry Group as research partner. An international jury comprising experts hailing from various fields carefully reviewed ad selected the winners.

Prof. Gherfal, expressed his appreciation for the award and reiterated the efforts exerted by his College to ensure the best standards of education are met and made available to his students. He also emphasized the importance placed on bridging the gap between the academia and business world by offering opportunities for students to get hands-on experience and a chance to hone their skills.
