TEFL Department Students Attend a Show at Dubai Opera

A number of students from the TEFL Department at the College of Education and Basic Sciences attended the famous musical “Mary Poppins” at the prestigious Dubai Opera House. The literary event organized by Ms. Tizreena Ismail, faculty member from the TEFL Department, took 20 TEFL students to the Opera House to experience Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s multi award-winning musical Mary Poppins. The magical story of the world’s favourite Nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane has been triumphantly and spectacularly brought to the stage with dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs.

The literary event was an excellent opportunity for students to enrich their learning experience as well as enhance their exposure and sociocultural knowledge of the English Language.

Both TEFL students and their lecturer enjoyed their evening together at this magical literary event.
